This eight-unit property with three garages/storage units in the rear sits on the edge of downtown – right inside the IDL and a few blocks north of the SOBO district. The four-story property includes a number of floorplans, including one- and two-bedroom units. The 1930s brick development has retained its historical charm while welcoming modern, sleek designs through recent renovations.

Purchased in 2019, four units were completely renovated (the other four renovated previously), which included opening up and introducing brick into the living spaces through custom walls and bars with white oak tops. In the kitchen, new cabinets and countertops were installed, along with new hardware and appliances. Updated bathrooms include an array of tiles, vanity and shower designs; back lit mirrors, white oak counters and no-barrier showers make an appearance. A second bathroom was strategically added to one of the units. The original floors were restored by hand scraping and a dark stain. The entire interior, including the stairwell, was painted, and modern fixtures were added throughout the spaces. Additionally, ductless HVAC and tankless hot water were installed to service the entire building. The exterior received new brick and mortar where needed. Windows were reinforced and painted, and awnings added to the bottom windows to take rainwater away from the building. A 10-foot fence was built around a freshly grassed lawn in the back, and a patio area was updated with tile walkways, a firepit and sink.
